Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700 054 for one position of Research Associate OR Senior Research Fellow (Extended) in the DAE sponsored “Raja Ramanna Fellowship” project entitled “Inositol metabolism in relation to abiotic stress in plants : Molecular and transgenic approach” under supervision of Prof. A.N. Essential Qualification: Ph.D. degree in any branch of Life Sciences with research experience in Plant Molecular Biology/Biotechnology for Research Associate position. Candidates those who have submitted their Ph.D. theses may apply for SRF(Extended) position.

Associate ship / Fellowship: For RA - Rs. 22,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA and Medical benefit For SRF (Extended) - Rs. 20,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA and Medical benefit

For RA – Below 35 years
For SRF (Extended) - Below 33 years

Qualifications required:

Knowledge and skills:

1. The post require fluent use of computers in word processing, worksheets for data compilation and basic analysis and presentation (PIP). The applicants should also have experience of using internet.
