University of Kashmir recruit as a Laboratory Assistant in Pharmaceutical Sciences

Applications on the prescribed form are invited from the permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir State for the following posts available in various Department/Institute /Centre of the University. Candidates shall submit the filled in form in the office of the Deputy Registrar (Recruitment) by or before 31-07-2014, along with a bank draft of Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Kashmir, payable at J&K Bank Hazratbal, Srinagar.

TERMS/CONDITIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST ARE AS UNDER:

i) Applicants should be within the age limit of 18-40 years as on 01-06-2014. However, this condition shall not apply to the in-service candidates;
ii) In-Service candidates have to route their application forms through proper channel with the recommendations/no objection of the employer;
iii) Candidates should append attested copies of the qualification/technical/experience certificates along-with the marks certificates, with their application forms without which his/her application form shall not be entertained/rejected;
iv)The University may conduct an objective type written test for short-listing for which the syllabus shall be notified separately;
v) Canvassing in any form by or on behalf of a candidate will render the candidate concerned for disqualification;
vi) The date for written test/interview of the Eligible Candidates shall be notified through local news papers and also uploaded on University web www.kashmiruniversity.net. No individual call letter shall be sent to the concerned candidates;
vii) Mere submission of application form for the advertised posts here in above does not itself entitle any applicant to be called for an interview;
viii) Candidates to be called for interview shall have to produce the original documents relating to their age, qualifications, experience and fitness etc at the time of interview;
ix) The University reserves the right not to fill up the post, if circumstances so warrant, without assigning any reason thereof.
x) A Candidate submitting fabricated, tampered, fake or forged documents or making statements which are incorrect or false or suppressing material information may be debarred permanently or for a specific period from being considered for any or all future appointments, in addition to rendering him/her liable for criminal prosecution.

Qualification- Essential	B. Pharma/ B.Tech in Chemical   Engineering with 60% marks
Qualification -Desirable	M. Pharma , MBA/PGDM in Production Management
Minimum Experience	10 years
Specialisation	Experience in Production/Project Implementation Schedule ‘M’/GMP and Quality Control in Pharmaceutical Company having exposure in Factory Administration, out of which 5 years should be in Middle Management Level. Public Sector Experience desirable.
Age Limit	Not exceeding 40 yrs.(Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and for others as per Govt. directives).

Candidate’s Prerequisites
Qualification- Essential	Bachelor or Master Degree in Science/ Degree in Engineering/ Pharmacy.
Qualification -Desirable	MBA/ PGDM in Materials Management.
Minimum Experience	10 years
Specialisation	Having 10 years experience out of which 5 years in middle management level in Purchase Department in a large Chemical & Pharmaceutical Company preferably in PSU.
Age Limit	Not exceeding 40 yrs.(Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and for others as per Govt. directives).
