Notification for a Junior Research Fellow at ICGEB, New Delhi

The Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt of India and International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) have jointly set-up a collaborative centre to perform cutting-edge research in the field of bioenergy using genomics, metagenomics, synthetic biology and systems biology approaches. The investigators at the Centre are leading teams of research personnel to fulfill various objectives of the Bioenergy Centre, including cellulolytic degradation of plant biomass, engineering microbes for consolidated bioprocessing, engineering algae for higher lipid and biomass yield, and engineering microbes for advanced biofuel production. The collaborative centre is seeking applications for the tenure track position with following details.

Career as Assistant Drugs Inspector (50 Vacancies) at Staff Selection Commission

Department: In Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation(Dte. of Health Services)
No. of post: 50 (UR-25 / OBC- 13 /SC – 08 / ST 04)

Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- (General Central Service, Group 'B', Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial).
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years ( Relaxable by 05 years for Government servants and for SC/ST/OBC as per standing orders of Government of India)

Essential Qualification: Degree in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with Specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognised University or equivalent.

Initial Posting: CDSCO (HQ) and its Zonal, Sub-Zonal and Port Offices in different cities with AISL

Job Requirements: 1. To assist in evaluation of safety, efficacy and quality of Drugs as per requirement of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.
2. To carry out field duty in assisting superior/Drugs Inspectors in taking out samples, enforcement activities like raids/inspections and launching prosecution etc.
3. To assist CDSCO officers in the mater of monitoring documentation.
4. To carry out duties as may be assigned under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and Rules framed there under.

FEE PAYABLE: Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only). No fee for Woman candidates, Physically Handicapped, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Ex-S. However, no fee concession would be admissible to Ex-S who would otherwise be considered as general candidate. Such candidates are required to pay the requisite fee. Fee concession is not admissible to sons, daughters, and dependents of Ex-S. Service clerks in the last year of their colour service are not exempted from payment of fee.
Note: Mode of payment of examination fee should be in the form of CRFS (CENTRAL RECURUITMENT FEE STAMP) available in major Post offices.

Note (2): Commission may consider conducting the screening test or Proficiency test, wherever applicable, for all the post(s) on the same date or different date(s) at its discretion.

DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED WITH THE APPLICATION:
(i) Central Recruitment Fee Stamps of Rs.50/- affixed and clearly cancelled on the application form.
(ii) One recent passport size photograph to be pasted on the application.

Walk in interview for M.Pharm as Junior Research Fellow/ Senior Research Fellow in IITD

Desirable: specialization in organic chemistry, familiarity with techniques including HPLC, GC used in organic synthesis. Some experience of working with enzymes.
